Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, announced a US$15.1 billion (AED 55.4 billion) commitment for 40 Boeing 787-10 Dreamliners.In the presence of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates airline and Group signed the agreement with Boeing Commercial Airplanes President and CEO Kevin McAllister on the opening day of the 2017 Dubai Airshow.

A new generation Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, numbered VN-A861 of Vietnam Airlines, on May 12th has operated two flights from/to Cat Bi international airport in Hai Phong City to welcome the new passenger terminal construction. The VN1182 flight from Ho Chi Minh City landed at Cai Bi Airport at 09h25, while the VN1183 flight took off from Cat Bi Airport at 10h45. The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) received it’s 10th Boeing 787 Dreamliner at International Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi on November 25. The airplane will be put into use on the Hanoi-Ho Chi Minh City route starting November 26.As planned, the carrier has planning to receive 19 Boeing 787 from 2015 to 2019.
